NXT Roadblock was one of the best shows that NXT has done for a very long time. This has set up NXT Stand and Deliver perfect which will take place on WrestleMania Saturday in front of over 10,000 fans. NXT Roadblock had great Matches as well as some storylines that progressed. Shawn Michaels has found top gear once again and the next month of NXT will be one to watch.

Dijak beat Joe Gacy in a Asylum Match
This was the first match of the evening and it was an absolute banger. Both these men went out there with the intention of having the best match. Dijak is one of the best in NXT and Joe Gacy is getting better each week. This was inside a cage and they had a 13 minute brutal match. Dijak even did a moonsault from the Top of the cage and it looked amazing. Joe Gacy has become one of the Favorites for a lot of fans recently. Dijak will look to go for the NXT Championship.
Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin beat Chase U for NXT Tag Team Championship
This was the second match of the show and this was for the tag team titles. The champions were once again at their best and Chase U featuring Andre Chase and Duke Hudson gave a tough fight to the champions. It was a 12 minute match and these 4 men gave it their all. Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin have become better and better as a tag team and they have been great heels. Bron Breakker has been balancing 2 brands at once. They will have their next title defense at NXT Stand and Deliver.
The Kabuki Warriors beat Lyra Valkaria and Tatum Paxley for Women’s Tag Team Championship
This was the second tag team title match at this show. It was the team of the NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkaria and Tatum Paxley who took on the team of Asuka and Kairi Sane. These 2 are bona fide legends of NXT and former NXT Women’s Champions. This was a 13 minutes match where all the women showed why they are rated so highly. It was a career making performance by Tatum Paxley whose character work has been second to none. The tag team champions retained their titles. After the match Roxanne Perez attacked Lyra Valkaria and fully tuned heel.
Tony D’ Angelo beat Carmelo Hayes in number one contenders match for NXT Championship
This was the main event of the show. It was Carmelo Hayes vs Tony D’ Angelo. Two of the best in NXT currently. They had a 11 minutes match where there was great wrestling and great athleticism. Carmelo Hayes did not miss yet again and Tony D’ Angelo had a star making performance. At the end of the match Trick Williams’s music played and that distracted Carmelo Hayes which gave The Don the win and he became the number one contender and will face Ilja Dragunov. After the match Trick Williams appeared and took out everyone and the Fans went crazy
