James, widely regarded as one of the greatest NBA players of all time, is regularly compared to Michael Jordan in disputes over who is the finest basketball player of all time. James is the only player to have won NBA titles with three different organisations as NBA Finals MVP, having played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers. He's appeared in 10 NBA Finals, eight of them with the Heat and the Cavaliers in a row from 2011 to 2018. Four NBA championships, four NBA MVP awards, four NBA Finals MVP awards, and two Olympic gold medals are among his achievements.


James is the highest-paid NBA player, according to Forbes. He's also near the top of the list of highest-paid sportsmen in 2021, at No. 5, with a salary and endorsements totalling US$85.5 million. Over the course of his 18-year career, the Los Angeles Lakers great has earned millions through endorsements and investments. According to rumours, James could earn $1 billion in the near future, joining an elite group of sportsmen who have accomplished this feat. Forbes estimated his net worth to be US$450 million in 2018.

LeBron James, the four-time NBA MVP, signed a four-year, $153 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018. LeBron James made slightly over $126 million in salary over his first ten seasons in the NBA. LeBron made an estimated $326 million in endorsements during the same time period. That's $452 million in his first ten years as a pro. LeBron has earned slightly more than $600 million in salary during his career as of this writing.  James' net worth to be around $500 million this year.


Current contract with LA Lakers:


LeBron James signed a four-year, $153 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018. He has, however, agreed to a two-year contract worth 85 million dollars to continue with the team. James' contract deal will keep him in the NBA until the 2022-23 season, giving him a total of 20 seasons in the league, including 11 with Cleveland across two stints, four with the Miami Heat, and at least five with the Los Angeles Lakers. By the completion of this term, James' career earnings from NBA contracts are expected to reach $435 million.


NBA Career:


Cleveland took James as the first overall choice in the 2003 NBA draught. He was named Rookie of the Year in 2003–04 and quickly established himself as one of the best players in the league, winning the NBA MVP Award in 2009 and 2010. After failing to win a championship with Cleveland, James signed a free-agent contract with Miami in 2010. This move was revealed in an ESPN broadcast called The Decision, and it is one of the most divisive free-agent moves in sports history. In 2012 and 2013, James won his first two NBA titles while playing with the Miami Heat. He was also named league MVP and Finals MVP in both of these seasons. 


James opted out of his contract with the Heat after his fourth season in 2014 to re-sign with the Cavaliers. He led the Cavaliers to a 3–1 victory over the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals in 2016, giving the franchise its first championship and ending Cleveland's 52-year professional sports title drought. In 2018, James chose to leave the Cavaliers and join the Lakers, where he won the 2020 championship and was named Finals MVP for the fourth time.


Endorsements:


McDonald’s, Microsoft, State Farm, Beats by Dre, Coca-Cola, Dunkin-Donuts, Baskin-Robbins, Samsung, Nike, and others have signed sponsorship deals with LeBron. LeBron James not only endorsed Beats by Dre, but he also owned 1% of the firm. During his time as a spokesman, he received $1 million in royalty payments. LeBron received $30 million when the company was sold to Apple for $3 billion. Nike pays LeBron a total of $20 million per year in salary and royalties for his signature shoe line. LeBron James signed a lifetime endorsement agreement with Nike in December 2015, which could be worth more than $1 billion.
