Caribbean cricketer Dwayne John Bravo or Dwayne Bravo is a superstar all-rounder in world cricket. As a right-handed middle-order batter or as a right-arm medium bowler or a fielder, Bravo is always a cool but dominant player and crucial game-changer. DJ Bravo’s character matches his name as he likes singing and dancing even in the game.

Dwayne Bravo has a memorable career in every format. However, we are currently focusing only on his T20 career, where he is a very special and irreplaceable cricketer.

While Bravo made his international debut in 2004, he played his first T20I as well as T20 match on 16th February 2006 against New Zealand at Auckland, when West Indies also played their first-ever T20I match. That game had a tie result, where New Zealand won that match through the first-ever bowl out in T20I history.

Bravo has taken up the T20 format very seriously as he not only served the Caribbean T20I side regularly, but he has also regularly participated in many global T20 leagues. He has experienced IPL, BBL, CPL, T20 Blast, PSL, BPL, MSL, Global T20 Canada etc.

As a right-arm medium bowler, Bravo is very useful as he can strongly play the wicket-taker role. He is an incredible death-over bowler as the clever man can perform consistently in these crucial overs.

On the other hand, Bravo is an aggressive right-handed middle-order batter. Apart from playing a powerful role as a batter, he can also take responsibility in the middle or lower-order batting line-up.

Apart from regularly serving for West Indies and CPL team Trinbago Knight Riders (formerly the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel), DJ Bravo is also a very popular face for the IPL team Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The all-rounder has played many memorable roles for all these big T20 teams. Undoubtedly, the all-rounder has created many records for these teams.

Daren Sammy led the West Indies team to win both the ICC World T20 2012 and ICC World T20 2016, and DJ Bravo played important roles in both those tournaments. In the 2012 edition, Bravo bowled only one wicket-less over, but he scored 134 runs in five innings with an average of 33.50 and a strike rate of 118.58. His highest score in that tournament was 40 runs.

Meanwhile, in the ICC World T20 2016, DJ Bravo played a major role as a bowler. He finished that successful tournament as the joint leading wicket-taker for his team with nine wickets in six games. Also, he scored 63 runs in four innings of that tournament.

Here we have mentioned some of Dwayne Bravo’s memorable records in T20 cricket history.
