In the last game of the six-match T20I series between the hosts Spain and the Isle of Man, the Spanish side not only maintained their unbeaten streak in the series but also created history by bundling out Isle of Man for only 10 runs. Isle of Man are the new record holder of the lowest total in T20 cricket and T20I history.

Cartagena hosted that game where the hosts chose to field first after winning the toss. The visitors were bundled out for only 10 runs in 8.4 overs, where Joseph Burrows was the highest run-scorer with four runs.

A total of six batters scored ducks in that innings, including three golden ducks. Also, the Spanish left-arm pacer Mohammad Kamran took a hat-trick by dismissing Luke Ward (2), Edward Beard (0) and Christian Webster (0) in three successive deliveries in the third over of that innings. Kamran finished with bowling figures of 4-1-4-4.

In chasing, after a no-ball on the first delivery of the innings, Spanish opener Awais Ahmed smashed two back-to-back sixes in the next two legal balls to complete their chase.

T20 cricket record: Isle of Man’s 10 all out is now the lowest completed total in T20 cricket history. The previous lowest T20 total record was 15 all out by Sydney Thunder against Adelaide Strikers (at Sydney on 16 December 2022).

T20I record: Isle of Man’s 10 all out is the lowest completed T20I total. The previous lowest total record in T20 international cricket was 21 by Turkey against the Czech Republic (at Ilfov County on 30 August 2019).

 

Mohammad Kamran (Spain) – Hat-trick


First T20I hat-trick from Spain: The 35-year-old left-arm medium pacer Mohammad Kamran became the first Spanish bowler to record a T20I hat-trick. He also became the fourth left-arm pacer and sixth left-arm bowler to claim a hat-trick in T20 international cricket.

 

Largest victory margin (by balls remaining) – Spain won by 10 wickets (118 balls remaining)   


T20I + T20 record: Spain won the match by 10 wickets (118 balls remaining). It is the largest winning margin (by balls remaining) in T20 as well as T20I cricket history. The previous record in this list was winning by 10 wickets (105 balls remaining) by Kenya (vs Mali at Kigali on 20 November 2022) and Rwanda (vs Mali at Kigali on 24 November 2022).
