The German Football Association on Wednesday announced that Hansi Flick will take charge of the national team after Euro 2020.

On 9th March Joachim Löw announced that he would step down as the German national team coach after more than 14 years in charge. Hansi Flick was immediately the favourite to replace Low. Flick was the Assistant Manager for Germany under Low for the first 10 years. Germany had a very disappointing World cup in 2018 failing to make it past the group stages. Despite a continuous bad run after the World cup, Low continued at the job. But now it's finally time for change in the German team. Low will be looking to end his outstanding spell as German manager on a high at the Euros.

On the other hand, Hansi Flick has been the best manager in the world for the past 2 seasons with Bayern Munich. Flick has won 83% of his games as the Bayern Manager winning the Sixtuple in his first season in charge. Back in April Flick openly expressed his desire to take over the Vacant Germany job after the Euros.

Hansi Flick will have a major task of grooming the young players like Werner, Sane and Kimmich along with getting the right use out of the old guards like Muller, Kroos and Hummels. A lot of Flick's future decisions will depend on how Germany under Low performs at the Euros.
