Tottenham Hotspur Drew 2-2 away at Newcastle on Sunday. Harry Kane scored both the goals for Spurs on what was a disappointing draw for Jose Mourinho's men.

The positive for the North London club was Harry Kane getting on the scoresheet. The 2 goals scored by Kane took his tally to 19 Premier League goals making him the current top goalscorer of the competition. The Englishman was already on the top of the Assist charts before the game.

The Star Striker could become only the 3rd player in Premier League history to win the golden boot and playmaker of the season after Andrew Cole in 1993/94, and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who finished joint-top of both charts in 1998/99.

Harry Kane is currently 2 goals ahead of Mohamed Salah and 2 Assist ahead of Bruno Fernandes and Kevin De Bruyne. Spurs have been knocked out of the Europa League and F.A Cup. With only the Carabao cup final left to play Jose Mourinho will be fully focused on a top 4 Premier League finish. Harry Kane is almost certain to play every single minute of the remaining 8 matches which makes him the favourite to top the Goals as well as the assists charts.

Harry Kane was a proper no. 9 before this season. This season Mourinho has turned Kane into a False 9 who is more than just a fox in the box. If Kane keeps on bagging goals and assists he will surely end up winning the golden boot and the playmaker of the year award. Kane's form is very crucial for spurs as well as for the England team. With the Euros coming up Gareth Southgate will be hoping that Kane stays fit and arrives at the Euros in red hot form.
