There are some amazing batting performances where the batters scored the most runs in one over.

Here’s the list of the top 5 most expensive overs in IPL history:

1. Prashanth Parameshwaran:

Prashanth Parameswaran is a very well-known cricketer in the domestic tournaments in India. But when it comes to the IPL, he is one of the most unfortunate bowlers too. The record for conceding the most runs in one over of an IPL match is written in his name. It was the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2011 season, and the player of Kochi Tuskers Kerala gave 37 runs in his over. This may sound weird, but it is true. Prasanth Prameswaran conceded a total of 37 runs in his over. It was Chris Gayle’s batting, who scored 36 runs in that over, and one run was from no ball.

2. Harshal Patel:

IPL 2021 was a dream season for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer Harshal Patel, who won the Purple Cap and Most Valuable Player awards. But one of the games in that season ended awkwardly for him. Although his bowling figures were remarkable before the final over of the first innings against Chennai Super Kings (3-0-14-3), CSK star Ravindra Jadeja thrashed him in the final over with 37 runs. Out of five sixes and one four in that over, Jadeja smashed four sixes in the first four deliveries.
