Here is the list of the bowlers with best bowling average in IPL history:


1. Kagiso Rabada:


Rabada is one of the best bowlers of this time. He has always ensured the victory of his tem with some amazing bowling spells. He is also the player with the best bowling average in IPL history. Rabada has played in a total of 35 IPL matches and has taken 61 wickets conceding 1,104 runs. That makes his bowling average to a whopping 18.09 which is the best in IPL so far.



2. Doug Bollinger:


Doug Bollinger stands second in this list with the second best bowling average in IPL history. Bollinger has appeared for a total of 27 matches and has bowled a total of 96 overs. He has also taken a total of 37 wickets conceding 693 runs and this gives him an average of 18.72.

 

3. Dimitri Mascarenhas:


Dimitri Mascarenhas has played for a total of 13 IPL matches and has bowled 51.2 overs in overall. From 13 matches he has taken 19 wickets giving 356 runs. His individual best in IPL is taking 5 wickets for 25 runs. His amazing performance in IPL sums up his average as 18.73, which is the third best in IPL history.

 

4. MF Maharoof:


MH Maharoof has only appeared in a total of 20 IPL matches and has the fourth best bowling average in IPL history. In the 20 matches he played, he has bowled a total of 70 overs and has taken 27 wickets conceding 520 runs. His bowling statistics in the 20 matches sums up his average as 19.25 which gives him a space in the top 5.


 

5. Lasith Malinga:


Lasith Malinga is undoubtedly one of the greatest pacers of all time. He has many records that are written in his name in IPL as well as international matches. This Sri Lankan pacer is the highest wicket taker in the history of IPL. Malinga has played a total of 122 IPL matches so far and has bowled a total of 471.1 overs. From this he has also taken a total of 170 wickets conceding 3366 runs which in terms give him an average of 19.80.
