During the thrilling contest between Pakistan vs Zimbabwe in Group 2 of the Super 12 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, the 21-year-old Pakistan bowler Mohammad Wasim became the youngest right-arm pacer to claim a four-wicket haul in a T20 World Cup match.

It was an important game for both teams where Mohammad Wasim’s 4-0-24-4 helped Pakistan to restrict Zimbabwe to 130/8 in 20 overs. However, the 2009 T20 World Cup winners suffered a shocking one-run defeat as they scored 129/8 in 20 overs.  

The right-arm pacer Mohammad Wasim was 21 years and 63 days old when he claimed his second four-wicket haul in his T20I career.
