1) Smriti Mandhana – 3.40 Crores

Not only was Smriti Mandhana the highest bid by an Indian player but she was the overall highest bid of the entire auction as she was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for a whopping 3.4 crores. This is the kind of money that was unheard of in Women’s cricket until yesterday when it became reality. Smriti Mandhana will most likely be the captain of the RCB team and she will be looking to repay the faith shown by the team.

2) Deepti Sharma – 2.60 Crores

The second most expensive Indian player at the auction was the star all rounder Deepti Sharma who was bought by her home franchise the Uap Warriorz and she will be the captain of this team and she is such a good player that even this amount of money feels like it is a little less . Deepti Sharma will have the opportunity to showcase her skills on the biggest stage with the whole world watching

3) Jemimah Rodrigues – 2.20 Crores

At number 3 it is Jemimah Rodrigues who was recently the star with the bat against Pakistan and the fact that this innings came just a day before the auction surely had to raise her price and the result was excellent as Delhi Capitals were the ones that bought her for this sum of money. Whether she will be the captain or not is yet to be seen but she would be better as a batter. All her fans will be looking forward to seeing her come March

4) Shafali Verma – 2 Crores

Delhi Capitals yet again splurged a lot of money to acquire the services of the star Indian opening batter Shafali Verma. Delhi Capitals have 2 great Indian players in their team and they are both so young that they can build their team around them. Shafali Verma was also the captain of the winning under 19 World Cup winning team but sr is far too young to captain a side with this much experience so at the top of the order is where she will be most effective.

5) Richa Ghosh – 1.90 Crores

The 5th highest bid for an Indian player was for the destructive finisher of the Indian team Richa Ghosh and Royal Challengers Bangalore bought her along with many other great players and they look like the best team. Richa Ghosh has got her name and fame in the past year and she is one of the most destructive batters in the world. RCB have a player that they can keep for years and make her into a superstar.
