The rumors have been going around for a few weeks that Brock Lesnar will face Omos of all people at WrestleMania 39 and the fans did not believe this and speculated that this was a swerve and that when Raw happened it would be revealed that this was a swerve for another match.
However Monday Night Raw happened and the worst fear came true as this match between Brock Lesnar vs Omos came true and it was made official in the words of Adam Pierce. And this is a really bad idea for a WrestleMania match and more so that of a Brock Lesnar match at the biggest show of the year. The reasons are as follows
Brock Lesnar is too big a star for this match
Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest stars in WWE history and one of the last true box office draws in WWE who can have a match against anybody he wishes. Brock Lesnar is such a big name that shows are marketed in his name and his opponents always get more prominence and at WrestleMania Brock Lesnar faces the biggest names in WWE and to see him face Omos who in the past 3 years has not shown much improvement is a total waste of Brock Lesnar.

Omos has not shown any improvement in 3 years in WWE
One of the biggest reasons that the fans are not happy that this match is happening is because Omos has been WWE for over 3 years and he has been given lots of opportunities at WrestleMania and at all the major shows and still Omos has not shown any wrestling chops or does he have a character that the fans can get behind. He is stale and boring and Frankly there are more deserving WWE superstars who deserve this spot against Brock Lesnar.

The fans were robbed of the Gunther vs Brock Lesnar dream match
WrestleMania 39 was the perfect opportunity to do the dream match of Brock Lesnar vs Gunther and Triple H had the chance to add even more excitement for the fans and more tickets would have been sold just on the basis of this one match. Seeing Gunther going up against Brock Lesnar would have been special but Triple H made his first horrendous error and that too on the Road to WrestleMania and this could run the fans the wrong way. There is still time to rectify this error and make another Brock Lesnar match at WrestleMania 39.
