2023 is coming to a close and it is time to select the MVP of WWE in the year 2023. There are many contenders that choosing an MVP was an extremely difficult task. There were the likes of Cody Rhodes who came back in January and then he has been the face of WWE for the whole year and he has had great matches. Then there is Damian Priest who has become one of the top WWE superstars on Raw. Among the women is Rhea Ripley who has become the most dominant woman in WWE. Becky Lynch will always be there in the reckoning because she just keeps getting better.

Dominik Mysterio is the WWE MVP of the year
There were a lot of contenders but the one that takes the prize is Dominik Mysterio. To see where he was last year at the same point and where he is now needs to be studied. Dominik Mysterio has become a heat magnet for WWE this whole year and whenever he tried to speak, the fans at the arenas did not allow him to speak at all. No other WWE superstar had that kind of heat on them. Dominik Mysterio has been in The Judgement Day for more than a year along with Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. He has had 100 Matches for WWE in this year which is simply sensational. He has been in every TV show be it Raw or NXT. He has also been performing at Live Events throughout the world and getting heel heat everywhere.
He has also been the NXT North American Champion for a long time and so he has to be be at Raw and NXT in the same week on a regular basis as compared to the other WWE superstars. When Dominik Mysterio arrived at first he was not getting over and his face character was not working at all and WWE were thinking about releasing him but the heel turn at WWE Clash at the Castle last year in October changed everything for him. Ever since he has been on an upward trajectory and nothing will stop him if he stays humble behind the scenes and continues to work hard. He has also had a separate story with Rhea Ripley where she has been his Mami and they have been the best on screen couple in WWE this year.
Dominik Mysterio has become a great Wrestler as well which he was not for a while. He did not know how to tell a story in the matches. However this year he has become an expert at getting the heel heat during matches as well. The WWE fans want to boo him and he gives them every opportunity. He has brought star power to NXT as well by being the North American Champion as the ratings of NXT have gone up ever since he has been there. Shawn Michaels also said recently that Dominik Mysterio is the MVP of WWE this year. He said that he has seen Dominik Mysterio work harder than anyone and he is proud of him. Rey Mysterio behind the scenes would be such a proud father that his son is becoming one of the best things in WWE. He is only 25 and therefore sky is the ceiling for this young man.
