United States’ Chase Jackson won the 2026 Diamond League crown in the women’s shot put with a new Diamond League record.
On her third attempt in the Final, Jackson threw 21.14 meters, setting a new Diamond League record in this event and breaking the previous record of 21.09 m by Jessica Schilder (Netherlands) in May 2026. Jackson had one more successful attempt on the day, as she started with the 20.04m distance.
Canadian Sarah Mitton managed six successful throws, including four above 20m, while finishing second with a throw of 20.64m. Dutch star Jessica Schilder managed the 20.57m throw to finish in third place.
