Klaudia Kazimierska from Poland won the historic women’s 1500m title in the inaugural World Athletics Championship, which Budapest (Hungary) is hosting this weekend.
Klaudia took 3:57.55 minutes to win the women’s 1500m final event on Saturday. Great Britain athlete Georgia Hunter Bell closely finished in second position by finishing the race in 3:57.72 minutes.
American Nikki Hiltz (3:58.16) and Ethiopian Freweyni Hailu (3:58.44) grabbed the next two spots. In the 12-member final battle, Saron Berhe (4:00.28) from Ethiopia claimed the 10th spot but recorded her season-best finish.
