Indian Athletics Team for Commonwealth Games 2026: Full Squad

Indian athletes are ready to challenge in the Commonwealth Games 2026, which are set to be hosted by Glasgow in Scotland from 23 July to 2 August 2026. Without any doubt, athletes will play an important role for the country in the CWG 2026, as the athletics events will run between 27 July and 1 August 2026.

A total of 32 athletes are set to compete in different athletics events in the CWG 2026, among whom 22 are men and 10 are women. The Indian men's athletes will compete in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 5000m, 10000m, 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, high jump, long jump, pole vault, shot put, triple jump, decathlon, and javelin throw.

In the meantime, the Indian women athletes will challenge in the 3000m steeplechase, 5000m, 10000m race walk, high jump, shot put, and discus throw, along with the mixed 4x400m relay, including two men.

India’s history in athletics in Commonwealth Games

India has won a total of 36 CWG medals from athletics, securing one-third (12 medals) as the hosts during the CWG 2010. In CWG history, India has recorded six gold medals, 14 silvers, and 16 bronze medals.
