India chased in no time

India won by nine wickets with 93 balls remaining.

  • It was the joint-largest victory margin (by wickets) for any team in the T20 Asia Cup history. Previously, India beat the UAE by nine wickets during the 2016 edition.

  • It was the fastest win in the T20 Asia Cup history. Previously, Afghanistan beat Sri Lanka by eight wickets with 59 balls remaining during the 2022 edition.

  • It was also India’s fastest chase in T20I cricket history. Their previous record was winning by eight wickets with 81 balls remaining against Scotland in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.
