The Asia Cup 2025 complete schedules have been revealed officially. This 17th edition of the Asia Cup will be played in T20I format, as it will be the third edition of the T20 Asia Cup. Fans looking to enjoy some extra excitement during the matches can explore UPI betting apps for convenient and secure betting options.


India have the hosting rights for the Asia Cup 2025. The tournament will be hosted in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) between September 9 and 28, 2025. Eight teams are participating in this tournament, and it will be the first time that more than six teams are participating in the Asia Cup. 


All five ICC Full Members from Asia have directly qualified for the Asia Cup 2025. These Test-playing sides are India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the other three teams have qualified through the ACC Premier Cup 2024, and these teams are UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong.


While the UAE will host the complete Asia Cup 2025, the venue details of the tournament will be announced later.

Asia Cup 2025: Tournament Format  

While there are two groups in the Asia Cup 2025, each group has four teams. At the end of the group stage, where each team will play one match with all other teams in the group, the top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Four of the tournament.


In the Super Four, each team will face all three other teams in this stage, including once again facing their group stage team. At the end of the Super Four, the top two teams in the final points table will qualify for the Final of the tournament. 


So, the finalists will face each other at least twice in the tournament, as they will have a definite face-off in the Super Four round. If both the finalists are from the same group, they will face each other three times in the tournament.
