Deepak Chahar on this day became an instant hero and one of the best bowlers in the shortest format of the game. He produced this extraordinary spell of fast bowling against Bangladesh and won India the match easily. He gave an exhibition of swing bowling and bamboozled the Bangladesh batsmen all over and made history in the process and from there on he has become a permanent fixture in the Indian team for the T20I format of the game.

2. Yuzvendra Chahal (6/25):

The best spell of spin bowling by an Indian in the shortest format of the game came at his second home ground in Bangalore. He destroyed the England batting line-up that day on a good bathing wicket thus showing his skilled and great of a bowler he is and now even he has only gotten better and better and has become a great in this format and even the IPL. Here’s hoping that Chahal produces more such match winning spells in the future as well.

This was Bhuvneshwar Kumar at his imperious best and he produced such an extraordinary spell of fast bowling against South Africa at Johannesburg and announced to the world that he was nowhere near done and the veteran will not go anywhere and no one can swing the ball better than him in the world. It was great to witness this legendary bowler at his prime and the only hope is that he stays injury free and can contribute to more wins for India in the future. He is a once in a generation talent.

4. Kuldeep Yadav (6/24):

The only Indian bowler to feature in both the lists of the Top 5 best bowling figures by Indian bowlers is an astounding feat in itself. It shows what a special and a rare talent he is and the fact that he bowled so well in Manchester against England which is considered a fast bowling paradise and he destroyed England single handedly that day and showed to the world that he is here to stay and if given a long and fair chance he can become one of the greatest to ever play for India. The sad fact Is that he has fallen under the radar and the hope is he produces such quality performances and comes back into the India side.

5. Ravichandran Ashwin (4/8):

What can one say about the legend that is Ravichandran Ashwin, he is an all time great and the comeback king of Indian cricket as he produced this once in a career spell in the year 2016 when it was considered that he was at his prime and at 2017, he was out of the team bur he made his Comeback into the Indian T20I team for the world Cup of 2021 and the hope is that he can provide such match winning spells in the future as well.
