So, without wasting any more time, let's look at the World Cup and celebrate these players. Find below the ICC T20I World Cup Team of the Tournament:

Alex Hales

Alex Hales is one of the most extraordinary success stories in the World Cup. He was not able to play for England for 3 years and now that he came back into the 11, he absolutely decimated the opposition and scored a couple of half centuries and most important innings was in the semi final vs India when he scored 86.

Jos Buttler

The captain of England who has led them to their second T20I World Cup win this year and it was his first ICC tournament. He did not have a good tournament with the bat but when it mattered most he got 80* vs India in the semi final and took his team to the World Cup final.

Virat Kohli

At number 3 is the talisman who is back at his heat and he was the highest run getter in this World Cup with 296 runs with 4 half centuries and he played the greatest T20I Innings that anyone has ever seen that was 80* vs Pakistan. Virat Kohli is back as the king of World cricket. Hopefully he continues this form.

Surya Kumar Yadav

My Man of the tournament and a player who tore apart the opposition match after match and he scored these runs at a strike rate of more than 190 which is mind blowing. He got more than 220 runs and is rightfully the number 1 batter in the world.

Glenn Phillips

The best player from New Zealand in this World Cup and Glenn Phillips rose like a phoenix and now that he has come at this tournament and hi more than 200 runs in this World Cup at a very good strike rate. His career is going to go up.

Sikandar Raza

The best all round player in the T20I World Cup for me because he was the highest run getter for Zimbabwe and also the highest wicket taker for Zimbabwe and so he had to be in this team. He is a superstar and it would not be shocking to see him in the IPL.

Shadab Khan

The first of the 2 players from Pakistan to be in this side and Shadab Khan is the best all Rounder from Pakistan and he not only took more than 10 wickets for Pakistan but also scored important runs with the bat when Pakistan needed it the most.

Sam Curran

The man of the tournament Sam Curran has to be in this team because he was the best bowler in the world cup for England and he took 13 wickets including 3 for 12 in the final. Sam Curran has come so far in this World Cup and he is one of the most important players for England.

Anrich Nortje

The first of the 3 fast bowlers that I have in my team and it is the South Africa fast bowler and he was the best fast bowler and he has come back to form. He got more than 10 Wickets in the World Cup

Mark Wood

This English fast bowler is the fastest bowler in the world and he put all the batters in all sorts of pressure and Mark Wood has gotten better as the tournament went along and he will get kore exposure as the years go on.

Shaheen Shah Afridi

The last player in my team is Shaheen Shah Afridi and at the start of the World Cup very few would have expected him to be in this team but his constant rise and his getting Wickets in every match and in total he got 11 wickets by the final and hopefully his injury is not that serious.
