We are back with another Asia Cup article and this time we will look at the Indian team which was announced yesterday for the tournament. There were lots of talking points in the team and some big injury concerns as well. We also got a fair idea of what to expect for the squad for the T20 World Cup later this year in Australia. This is the most important tournament before the World Cup and great performances in this tournament will propel the players to get their spots confirmed in the plane to Australia.

Before we get to the squad I want to say that the team announced is a good team with a good balance of Bowlers and batters but the exclusion of some players leaves questions that need to be answered. This squad can win the Asia Cup and with a few additions India will be a favorite to win the World Cup as well. So, let’s look at the Indian squad for Asia Cup 2022.
