And again! Guess which teams meet in the semi-finals of the 2026 T20 World Cup! It is once again India and England. This is the third consecutive time that these two sides have met in a semi-final of a T20 World Cup. They met in 2022 and 2024 as well. The 2022 semi-final saw England win the game by 10 wickets, and they went on to win the tournament as well, while India took their revenge in 2024, beating the Brits by 68 runs. They also went on to win the title later on.

He has scored five fifties against them, with a highest score of 80, which he scored at Ahmedabad in 2021.
2: Rohit Sharma - 467 runs
The former Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma, loves playing against England and has played some iconic knocks. In 15 innings, Rohit has scored 467 runs at an average of 35.92 and a strike rate of 139.82. He has scored four fifties against them and a century. One of Rohit’s most iconic knocks against them came in the 2024 T20 World Cup semi-final, where he scored 57 on a tough pitch.

Hardik Pandya comes in third in the list of highest run-scorers for India against England in T20Is. In 18 innings against them, Hardik has scored 414 runs at an average of 29.57 and a strike rate of 148.38. He has scored three fifties against them and has a high score of 63.

The former England skipper, Eoin Morgan has scored 347 runs against India in T20Is in 14 innings. He averages 26.69 against them and has a strike rate of 141.63. In addition to that, he has registered two fifties against them. One of his iconic knocks came in 2012 when hit a six off the last ball to win the tie for England.
