Jasprit Bumrah becomes 1st Indian pacer to complete 250 T20 wickets

In a recent IPL match, the 28-year-old Indian right-arm fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah became the first Indian pacer to complete 250 T20 wickets.

Last Tuesday (17th May) night, SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) met the five-time IPL winners Mumbai Indians (MI) in the crucial 65th match of the IPL 2022 at Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai). While SRH scored 193/6 in 20 overs, MI replied with 190/7 in 20 overs as they suffered a three-run defeat.

Jasprit Bumrah completed 250 T20 wickets with a full toss delivery

Jasprit Bumrah has majorly faced hard luck in that game, just like his overall experience in this IPL 2022. However, on the final ball of the first innings of the match, Bumrah bowled Washington Sundar (9) with a full toss to open his wickets account of the match.

That only wicket of the match helped Bumrah to complete his 250 T20 wickets. The right-arm fast bowler completed that feat in his 206 T20 matches (205 T20 innings).

While Bumrah became the first Indian pacer to complete 250 T20 wickets, he also became the fifth overall Indian bowler to record 250 T20 wickets.
