During the 15th match of the IPL 2025, while Kolkata Knight Riders beat SunRisers Hyderabad by 80 runs at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Caribbean cricketer Sunil Narine created a new history as he became the second cricketer to reach the special milestone in T20 cricket.
Last Thursday night (April 3), KKR hosted SRH, the rematch of the IPL 2024 Final, and KKR maintained their recent dominant record. In reply, SRH were all out for 120 runs in 16.4 overs. Among the KKR bowlers, Vaibhav Arora (3/29) and Varun Chakravarthy (3/22) picked up three wickets each, while only Kamindu Mendis (27) and Heinrich Klaasen (33) managed to reach the 20-run mark in that chase.
During the match, although Sunil Narine scored only seven off seven balls as an opener, the KKR off-spinner later had the bowling figures of 4-0-30-1. He dismissed set batter Kamindu Mendis (27), and it was his second wicket in the ongoing IPL season.
