3. Mahendra Singh Dhoni:


The most successful Indian captain ranks only behind Kohli and Tendulkar as the most followed cricketer on social media. Dhoni has 43.6 million followers across platforms of social media, with Facebook alone accounting for 20.5 million. On the other hand, the 2011 World Cup-winning captain has 15.4 and 7.7 million followers on Instagram and Twitter respectively.


4. Rohit Sharma:

With Indian taking up the top seven spots, AB de Villiers is the most followed non-Indian and the eighth most followed cricketer on social media.
