Virat Kohli came back after a series of disappointing knocks to score 73 off just 49 balls to seal a comfortable victory for India in the 2nd T20I against England.
The Indian Captain became the first player to score 3000 runs in T20I's. Subsequently, Kohli is also the highest run-getter in the format ahead of Martin Guptill and Rohit Sharma. Surprisingly Virat Kohli is yet to score his maiden T20I hundred. Kohli has scored 26 half-centuries with his highest score being an unbeaten 97.
The 32-year-old out for a duck in the first match after an average Test Series. But Kohli was quick to silence his critics by a formidable knock to lead his team to a 166 run chase in under 18 overs. Kohli has the 2nd highest average of 50.86 only behind Dawid Malan.
The T20 World Cup in India scheduled later this year, the blues haven't won the World T20 since the inaugural tournament in 2007. Indian fans will be hoping for their Captain to continue his good form.
