Tournament Format and Groups
Eight Asian nations are participating in this edition, divided into two distinct groups. Group A includes six-time champions India alongside Pakistan, Thailand, and Hong Kong (China). Group B consists of defending champions Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, host nation United Arab Emirates, and Indonesia.
The top two teams from each group will advance directly to the semi-finals. Every match throughout the tournament is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM IST (6:30 PM local time).
Key Fixtures and Important Dates
Tournament action begins on Friday, August 28, with Thailand taking on Hong Kong in the opening fixture. Defending champions Sri Lanka begin their campaign the following evening against the UAE.
The marquee clash of the group stage arrives on Saturday, September 5, when arch-rivals India and Pakistan face off in Dubai.
Once group matches conclude on September 8, the tournament shifts to the knockout stage. Semi-final 1 takes place on September 10, semi-final 2 follows on September 11, and the tournament culminates with the grand final on Sunday, September 13.
