Thiago made quite the statement against Everton in Gameweek 20 of the Premier League, as he ended up scoring a hat-trick to help his side win 2-4. It was the perfect reply to his doubters and haters after the Brazilian failed to score in his previous 6 Premier League appearances. Brentford will be facing Sunderland at home next, and this looks like a game that has goals all over it. Thus, Thiago stands out as an attractive FPL forward pick.
Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa, £8.7m)
Ollie Watkins had a horrible start to his Premier League season, and many went on to even claim that he's past his best. The English striker has now given the best response to everyone in recent weeks, scoring 4 goals in his 4 EPL appearances. What makes the feat even more impressive is that 2 of those came against Chelsea as a sub and the other versus an Arsenal team known for their solid defense. Villa face a struggling Crystal Palace side next, which makes Watkins one of the best FPL forwards for this week.
Thierno Barry (Everton, £5.7m)
Thierno Barry is our official pick for best FPL budget forward for this week. He comes at a price of just £5.7m, which is ridiculously cheap for a starting forward. The French forward has managed to score in his 2 Premier League games, and thus is in great form at the moment. Everton face Wolves next at home, who have one of the worst defences in the league. Thus, Barry looks like a risk worth taking.
Benjamin Šeško (Manchester United £7.2m)
Benjamin Šeško has been largely disappointing after his switch to Manchester United from RB Leipzig for a huge €85 million transfer fee. In fact, he's just managed to score 2 goals and provide 1 assist in 16 Premier League appearances. The good news for him, however, is that United will be facing Burnley away in Gameweek 21, which is one of the easiest fixtures to score for any forward player. This could be the game where Šeško scores and starts to build up his confidence at United.
