Brian Brobbey is one of the best budget forwards you can pick in FPL for this week. His £5.5m price is kind of a bargain for a starting striker who's performing well for an in-form Sunderland side. In fact, Brobbey scored the decisive goal in Sunderland's 2-1 win over Palace last week. Sunderland next face West Ham away, who have been terrible in the league. Thus, Brobbey has a great opportunity to give you solid returns.
Erling Haaland (Manchester City, £15.1m)
Erling Haaland is going through a rough-patch at the moment, as he has surprisingly only scored once in his last 8 appearances for Manchester City. However, that looks to change this upcoming Premier League weekend as Manchester City will host Wolves at the Etihad in GW23. Wolves arguably have the worst defense in the Premier League right now, and thus the stage is perfect for Haaland to take the spotlight by scoring a few goals.
Thierno Barry (Everton, £5.7m)
We have yet another excellent budget striker pick for you this week in FPL, and it is Everton's Thierno Barry. The French striker scored the only goal in Everton's surprising 0-1 win over Unai Emery's Aston Villa side at Villa Park. Everton star Ndiaye is expected to be back for the club's Gameweek 23 fixture against Leeds, which probably means Barry will end up getting even better service in the coming games. Thus, he has a greater chance for attacking returns in future fixtures.
Thiago (Brentford, £7.2m)
If you take away the name Erling Haaland, then Thiago is without a doubt the best striker in the Premier League right now. Not even his biggest fans could've predicted such a big rise for the Brazilian striker this season, who has scored a staggering 16 goals in 22 EPL appearances playing for Brentford. The Bees will face Nottingham Forest next, who are struggling at the moment. Thus, Thiago is undoubtedly one of the best FPL strikers this week due to his form and opposition.
Viktor Gyökeres (Arsenal, £8.7m)
Viktor Gyökeres has been really impressive for Arsenal in the past games. In fact, the Swedish striker even managed to score against Inter Milan for Arsenal in the Champions League despite only playing for 16 minutes. Although Gabriel Jesus has been really impressive since returning from injury, we expect Gyökeres to still get the start due to his form and the Brazilian's worrying injury record. Manchester United's defense hasn't been good this season, and Gyökeres could capitalize on that to continue his excellent run.
