FPL team of the week - GW13
Goalkeeper
Emiliano Martínez (Aston Villa)
Wolves at home is probably the easiest Premier League game of the season at this point, and that's why Emiliano Martínez is our best goalkeeper selection in FPL team of the week. A minimum 6-pointer is almost guaranteed.
Defenders
Micky van de Ven (Tottenham Hotspur)
After Gabriel, Micky van de Ven is probably the best defender in the Premier League when it comes to being effective in attacking set-pieces. Thus, Fulham at home looks like a really attractive fixture to have in your team.
Matty Cash (Aston Villa)
Matty Cash has been arguably the best defender for Aston Villa this season. He's already scored 2 goals in the Premier League so far, and Wolves at home is the perfect fixture to add another one.
Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City)
Nico O'Reilly is an excellent option for your FPL team this week for numerous reasons. In addition to being cheap in comparison to other Manchester City and also having a great chance of clean sheet points, O'Reilly possesses a great attacking threat as well.
Midfielders
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle United)
Harvey Barnes has scored for Newcastle in his last 3 games, and thus it would be criminal not to include him in our best FPL team for this week. Everton away isn't the most difficult fixture out there, and he could continue his goalscoring streak.
Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest)
After what was a disappointing start to the season, Morgan Gibbs-White is now back to his very best for Forest under new manager Sean Dyche. Similar to Barnes, he has scored in his last 3 Premier League games as well. Forest face Brighton at home next, and Gibbs-White has a high chance of getting attacking returns in this game.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa)
Morgan Rogers is now arguably Aston Villa's best player in attack, he's in excellent form as well at the moment. The thought of facing Rogers might be terrifying for Wolves defenders, as they'll be facing him this EPL weekend. A top pick in our best FPL team for this week.
Rayan Cherki (Manchester City)
Rayan Cherki is slowly establishing himself as one of the favourites of Pep Guardiola, as he's been starting their past few Premier League games. His price is quite cheap as well at £6.4m, and we suggest you take the gamble and put him in your team. Leeds at home is too good of a fixture to ignore.
Forwards
Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
Erling Haaland is almost certain to be a part of a goal-fest when Manchester City face Leeds at home in GW13. He's undoubtedly our captain in this best FPL team for Gameweek 13, and we could even be triple-captaining him before the deadline.
Thiago (Brentford)
After Erling Haaland, Thiago might be the best striker in the Premier League at the moment. Brentford face Burnley at home, and he's in such top form that we simply couldn't ignore placing him in our best FPL team for this week.
Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace)
Manchester United are in terrible form right now, especially their defense. Crystal Palace, on the other hand, have been excelling under Oliver Glasner. The opportunity to face a struggling bunch of Man United defenders will be a relishing prospect for Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Bench
Caoimhin Kelleher (Brentford)
Marc Guéhi (Crystal Palace)
Yankuba Minteh (Brighton)
Pedro Porro (Tottenham Hotspur)
This is our best fpl team for this week (GW13):
That's it from our side in regards to the FPL team of the week for GW13. Goodbye for now, and we'll be back soon with the FPL team of the week GW14.
