We are finally at the very end of the Premier League. The very last gameweek of the 2019-20 season. Liverpool are already champions and just shy of the record set by Manchester City in the 2017-18 season. There’s a chance for Kevin DeBruyne to equal or even surpass Thierry Henry’s record of 20 assists in a Premier League season. The big match of the final week is Manchester United vs Leicester City leaving fantasy players with a lot of crucial decisions even in the final week.

Without further ado, here are the best picks for GW 38 of the Premier League in FPL:

#1. James Tarkowsi (DEF; Burnley vs Brighton)

Tarkowski has slowly and steadily climbed up the defender charts. He has managed 30 points in the last 6 games. The last match between these two sides ended in a draw but a lot has changed since then. Burnley has made it into the top half of the Premier League while Brighton is in the bottom 5. There’s enough decent factors in here to pick Tarkowski, not the least of which is that he’s going for 5.5.

#2. Mason Greenwood (FWD; Manchester United v Leicester City)

Mason Greenwood has been very impressive since the Premier League came back and was the lone scorer for Man United in the 1-1 draw against West Ham United. He is going for the staggeringly low price of 4.8. In the last 6 games, he has had only two where he scored 2 points or less. Leicester City is a tough opponent sitting at 5th but thankfully he won’t take any penalty if Leicester scores.

#3. Jamie Vardy (FWD; Leicester City v Manchester United)

This is Leicester City’s final chance to make it into the top 4. Jamie Vardy has been the top scorer for the season and thus the stakes are very high. Vardy is going for 9.7 and is the highest scoring forward; only 1 of 5 players who have made it past the 200 points mark. Given the stakes, Leicester will be very dependent on him and very aggressive. Manchester United’s defence is far from the strongest therefore Vardy has a high chance of raking in quite some points the gameweek.

#4. Raul Jimenez (FWD; Wolves vs Chelsea)

Jimenez has been extremely impressive this season. He has been Wolves’ saviour on countless occasions and is one of the highest scoring forwards in FPL. He has managed 22 points in the last 3 matches and is going for 8.0 which isn’t incredibly expensive given that he’s a forward. Wolves are in pressure to lose their top 6 position, if they lose the match and Tottenham wins so they might be extra aggressive and dependent on the high scoring forward.

#5. David Silva (MID; Manchester City vs Norwich)

David Silva has a high chance of finishing his Manchester City career with the match against Norwich. The Man CIty legend has scored a lot of points in matches where he’s played a decent amount of minutes. In the last 90 minute game, he managed 13 points and might have been rested in Manchester City’s previous game for this game. Norwich on the other hand has conceded the most no. of goals and is already unfortunately locked for relegation. Too many odds stacked against them while a lot are in favor for David Silva.
