Injured Bukayo Saka

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) players are now upset with the news of Arsenal star Bukayo Saka’s hamstring injury. The 23-year-old is out of the game for many weeks, and it will hamper the FPL players’ team status. Here, we are going to talk about the Fantasy Draft solution as the draft players are going to suffer the most.

Bukayo Saka is a consistent performer. Although the Arsenal midfielder failed to manage direct involvement in the Gunners’ goals in the last four games, including three full matches, he has earned 107 points after recording five goals and 11 assists. Among the midfielders in the FPL points, he is in the joint third position.

There are two choices in the Fantasy Draft

It is a tough time for the Fantasy Draft players who have Saka. They have two choices at present, one to hold him till his return time, which is unknown at present. The other one is to release him to welcome a fit and in-form player. In this case, the player has a big risk of losing Saka for the remainder of this season if the Gunners’ star returns.

Still can retain

If the FPL draft players have some in-form midfielders in the full squad, they can wait for a few more weeks to understand any development in Saka’s fitness story. If his fitness story doesn’t develop much in the next few weeks, and his return period remains unknown, the FPL players can consider releasing him.

In the FPL draft, it is obvious that most of the top in-form players are unavailable for the selections. But the players have to try their best to secure a steady performer from the available list.

Best SAKA Replacements in FPL

As per the availability in the respective Fantasy Draft leagues, the players can select Fulham’s Alex Iwobi (81 points), Chelsea’s Noni Madueke (76 points), AFC Bournemouth’s Justin Kluivert (73 points), Manchester United’s Amad Diallo (67 points), Everton’s Dwight McNeil (65 points), Newcastle United’s Harvey Barnes (62 points), etc. These players’ present importance have been discussed briefly below.

Also, before replacing Saka, the players should check the upcoming fixtures of the joinee footballers.

Alex Iwobi:

The midfielder has scored five goals and three assists. However, he failed to record a goal or assist in the last three matches despite playing a complete 90 minutes in each of those games.

Noni Madueke:

The Chelsea midfielder was in the news early this season with a hat-trick against the Wolves during the second gameweek. There is a high possibility that he is not available for the selection, while he has scored five goals and four assists this season. In the last five fixtures, while he played 70+ minutes only twice, he was directly involved in goals (including an assist) in three matches. He can be a great alternative to Saka.

Justin Kluivert:

Bournemouth’s midfielder has scored six goals and two assists. While he scored a hat-trick against the Wolves, then he missed out on the next three matches after playing 63, 62, and 79 minutes. In the last game, Kluivert scored a goal to break the three-match drought while playing 77 minutes.

Amad Diallo:

The Manchester United midfielder has started to shine as he has scored two goals and seven assists. In the last seven PL matches, Diallo played 90 minutes in six fixtures and returned with any direct goal involvement (including assists) in five of those by recording one goal and six assists. In this PL season, while he has played 80+ minutes in eight matches, he ended with no direct goal involvement (including assists) in seven of those fixtures.

Dwight McNeil:

Everton midfielder currently has a tag of 50% chance of playing after missing the last two matches against Arsenal and Chelsea. He has recorded three goals and five assists. However, most of his points were recorded in the first eight matches, when he scored three goals and three assists.

Harvey Barnes:

Newcastle United midfielder has scored five goals and one assist this PL season. However, his consistency was recorded in the first five matches, where he scored three goals and one assist. Meanwhile, he has played 80+ minutes in only one match and 70+ minutes in two more fixtures.
