The shock loss means the Parisians have lost the chance to top Group B, with their 19-game scoring run ending in the 1-0 defeat, but remain firmly in contention for the knockouts if they can simply win against struggling Seattle Sounders and better Atletico’s result in their game against the top-place holders. Enrique’s side knows they cannot afford a group stage exit, with them being touted as competition favourites, as they will be no less than embarrassing for the best club in Europe right now.
