1000 Matches for the GOAT Lionel Messi Celebrating The Magician

It has been 1000 Senior Football Matches for the Greatest of all Time Lionel Messi and this is a love letter to him and celebrating his journey to 1000 Matches. Lionel Messi is the best footballer that I have ever seen playing this great sport and the things that he can do are something no player in the modern era has been able to do.

How fitting that his 1000th match came in the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match and he scored a beautiful goal like only he can.

Before we get into the stats of these 1000 Matches I want to say Thank You to him as a fan that he has entertained all of us and made us see a magician in real life where someone can do magic tricks with a football and no one can understand how he does it.

He has been playing football for over 15 years and even at 35 Years old he is leading Argentina in the FIFA World Cup. There will never be another like him. So, let’s celebrate the greatest of all time.

These stats of Lionel Messi are till the moment I am writing this and they will obviously increase but these are till his 1000th match.

After looking at all these stats it is clear that Lionel Messi is the best player of all time and he still has a few more years left in him at club level and if he wins the ongoing World Cup then most probably he will retire from Argentina. It has been a real pleasure watching him play football and it has made me a fan for life of Barcelona and Argentina and PSG.

Lionel Messi is revered by all his teammates and he is their leader in Argentina and at Barcelona he is no less than a God like figure and the most important player in the history of FC Barcelona. And in his current run at PSG he is surrounded by some of the best players in the world such as Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Sergio Ramos etc. We should all enjoy his greatness before he retires.
