The French striker and winger Anthony Martial is most likely to start a new chapter in his life. With his injuries and dipping form, the Frenchman started to fall out from the favour of Ole. The new interim manager Ralf Rangnick is unlikely to involve him in his plans. With the addition of Cavani, Ronaldo and Sancho on the attacking front Martial has fallen further down the pecking order. Martial who is yet to achieve his prime yearns for the on-field action. With only two starts in the Premier League and four appearances in all competitions, the French striker is ready to move on in his life after his fanatics in Manchester.

Rangnick’s Revelation

The German put some light on his conversation with Martial over his future. Ralf Rangnick said – “He explained to me he’s been at Manchester United now for the last seven years and he feels it’s the right time for a change, to go somewhere else.”

“I think, in a way it is understandable. I could follow his thoughts but on the other hand, it’s also important to see the situation of the club.”

What is next?

Anthony Martial announced his arrival in the Premier League under the reign of Luis Van Gaal. He twisted and turned Skrtel inside out to mark his arrival in the Premier League as the United fans roared with joy in the background. With 79 goals in 268 appearances Martial has enjoyed his life in the red colours but now it is time for him to build a new home in unknown lands. As things stand Martial has officially handed in the transfer request as he eyes a move out in January. Sevilla is reportedly interested in landing the Frenchman in the Spanish league. The only complication for his move to fall out in the upcoming transfer window is ‘wages’.

Rangnick has confirmed that no official offer has been made for Martial. If no offer arrives Martial will stay till the end of the season.

La Liga Journey

With his explosive pace and the ability to slip into spaces between defenders Martial could give a new life to his career. Julen Lopetegui can transform him into a player who was once feared by the opposition. Martial has still a long journey in front of him and La Liga may turn out to be a fortune in disguise. An opportunity that can turn around his career which currently stands still as the whole football world moves ahead.
