Here we bring the Ballon d'Or 2023 All Winners List. The Long-awaited Ballon d’Or 2023 ceremony was organized by France Football magazine at Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris, on October 30, 2023.

Ballon d'Or 2023 All Winners List

The Long-awaited Ballon d’Or 2023 ceremony was organized by France Football magazine at Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris, on October 30, 2023. Apart from men’s and women’s Ballon d’Or awards, some other awards were also presented in that ceremony.

It was the 67th Ballon d’Or ceremony, where many football superstars were present to experience the special night. While the Argentine legend Lionel Messi won the Ballon d’Or 2023, Spanish midfielder Aitana Bonmatí won the Ballon d'Or Féminin 2023.

Here we have brought all the awards winners’ names at the Ballon d’Or 2023 ceremony.

Socrates Award

  • Brazilian and Real Madrid forward Vinicius Júnior won the Socrates Award 2023 for fighting against racism and for his hard work in education in Brazil.

Kopa Trophy (Best U-21 men’s footballer)

  • The 20-year-old English midfielder Jude Bellingham won the Kopa Trophy 2023. In the 2022/23 season, he served for the German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and scored 15 goals and 8 assists in all competitions. In June 2023, Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid signed him.

    • 2nd place: The 20-year-old Bayern Munich’s German midfielder Jamal Musiala.

    • 3rd place: The 20-year-old Barcelona’s Spanish midfielder Pedri.

Women’s Club of the Year

  • Spanish club Barcelona Women won the Women’s Club of the Year award. In the 2022/23 season, Barca won their fourth successive Liga F title (eighth overall) and second UEFA Women's Champions League trophy.

Men’s Club of the Year

  • English club Manchester City unsurprisingly won the Men’s Club of the Year award for their historic run in the 2022/23 season. Man City won three trophies in the 2022/23 season: the third successive Premier League trophy (seventh overall Premier League title and ninth first division title), the seventh FA Cup trophy, and the first UEFA Champions League trophy.  

Yashin Trophy (Best goalkeeper)

  • Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez won the Yashin Trophy 2023. The Aston Villa goalkeeper had an important role in Argentina’s third FIFA World Cup trophy win in the 2022 edition in Qatar. He was in outstanding form in the 2022/23 edition.

    • 2nd place: Manchester City’s Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson.

    • 3rd place: Sevilla’s Moroccan goalie Yassine Bounou (present club Al-Hilal).

Gerd Müller Trophy (Best striker)

  • Manchester City’s Norwegian striker Erling Haaland won the Gerd Müller Trophy 2023. In the 2022/23 season, Haaland scored 56 goals in 57 matches in all competitions. He had a huge role in Manchester City’s historic treble.

Ballon d'Or Féminin (Women’s Ballon d’Or)

  • Barcelona Women’s Spanish midfielder Aitana Bonmatí won her first Ballon d'Or Féminin. She scored 21 goals and 23 assists in 45 matches in all competitions in the 2022/23 season. She had an important role in Spain Women’s first FIFA Women’s World Cup trophy win in the 2023 edition and Barcelona Women’s successes in the Liga F, UEFA Women's Champions League, and Spanish Super Cup.

    • 2nd place: Chelsea Women’s Australian forward Sam Kerr.

    • 3rd place: Barcelona Women’s Spanish forward Salma Paralluelo.

Ballon d'Or

  • Argentine legend Lionel Messi, who is currently playing for MLS side Inter Miami after leaving the French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the 2023 summer transfer window, won the Ballon d’Or 2023. It was his eighth Ballon d’Or award, setting a new record for most Ballon d’Or awards. Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo is the second most Ballon d’Or winner with five awards. In the 2022/23 season, Messi scored 38 goals and 25 assists in 54 matches in all competitions. During this period, apart from winning Ligue 1 and Trophée des Champions for PSG, Messi had a huge role in Argentina’s third FIFA World Cup trophy success in the 2022 edition.

    • 2nd place: Manchester City’s Norwegian forward Erling Haaland.

    • 3rd place: Paris Saint-Germain’s French forward Kylian Mbappé.
