The Premier League returned to action on Saturday with what was supposed to be a 'No Contest' match as Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea hosted West Bromwich Albion.

Going into the match Chelsea were clear favourites. The London club was undefeated under Tuchel but things didn't go as planned for the blues. Chelsea looked very comfortable after scoring the opening goal in the 27th minute via Christian Pulisic. It changed in a flash after Thiago Silva received a second yellow card in the 29th minute. West Brom scored 2 goals in the first-half injury time and ended up winning 5-2.

Chelsea conceded 5 goals in a single Premier League game for only the second time in history the first time being against Arsenal in 2011. Before this game, Chelsea had conceded only 2 goals in their 14 matches under Tuchel. This also marked the German manager's first loss as Chelsea Boss.

Chelsea fans will be hoping that this loss is just a rare bad day at the office. Chelsea still have a chance to secure silverware this season as they're still alive in the Champions League and the FA cup. A top-four finish is still very likely for the London club but West Ham, Spurs, Liverpool and Everton are closing in on the Blues.
