Current Leaders of Europe top five leagues ranked based on their chances of winning the title

Club football has just been hit with a 2-week long international break. The next time there will be a halt to club football we will have the champions of the title winners of the leagues.

Here are the leaders ranked based on their chances to be the eventual champions:

5. Atletico Madrid- 10 Games left

Atletico Madrid started the season in full force firing on all cylinders. The signing of Luis Suarez has brought a much needed finishing touch to this impressive side. Things started looking bleak for Diego Simeone's men in February as they consistently dropped points. The Madrid club at one point looked to be sailing away with the title but fixture constraints have been against them. Atletico also got outplayed by Chelsea in the UCL RO16 tie as they lost both the games against the London club. Athletico are still 4 points ahead of Barcelona and 6 points ahead of Real Madrid. With underwhelming performances over the past month and some tough fixtures including Barcelona away coming up, the rojiblancos are still way off being guaranteed champions. Barcelona and Real Madrid are on their tails and wouldn't miss any chance of going ahead.

4. Paris Saint Germain- 8 Games left

The French Ligue 1 title race is closest in terms of points. PSG and Lille both sit on 63 points while Lyon and Monaco are on 60 and 59 points respectively. PSG are currently top due to a higher Goal Difference. The only reason that PSG are still more likely than Atletico to win the title is because of the firepower that the Parisians have. Neymar is expected to be back to full fitness post the break after missing the last month due to injury. Mauricio Pochettino's appointment has given a major boost to PSG. The international break will be a good chance for Pochettino to set things right as PSG once club football resumes.

3. Bayern Munich- 8 Games left

Bayern Munich have won the Bundesliga title 8 times in a row and they are in pole position to make it 9 times in a row. The Bavarians are 4 points clear at the top of the table with a mammoth goal difference of +43. A 4 point gap might be too much for 2nd placed RB Leipzig to close down. Bayern Munich are still looking to retain the UCL along with the Bundesliga. The Munich club under Hansi Flick is stronger than ever after winning the Sixtuple and are showing no signs of slowing down.

2. Inter Milan- 11 Games left

Inter Milan are 6 points ahead of city rivals A.C Milan with a game in hand. Inter Milan have vastly improved under Antonio Conte as they are in the driver's seat to win their first League title since 2010. Juventus who have won the Scudetto for the last 9 years are currently 10 points behind the Nerazzurri. Inter will not get a better opportunity to clinch the title. The Milan club was knocked out of the Coppa Italia Semi-Final by Juventus and failed to make it to any European knockouts. Antonio Conte only has the Serie A to focus on and should get the job done without much hesitation.

1. Manchester City- 8 Games left

Manchester City are 14 points clear of city rivals Manchester United who do have a game in hand but that shouldn't make much of a difference. It would take a miracle for Manchester United to win the league this year. Pep Guardiola is still looking to be the first manager to win the Quadruple as City are still alive in all four competitions. City have won the domestic treble under Pep before but the UCL is a code that the Spaniard hasn't been able to crack with the Citizens. The league seems to be done and dusted at the Etihad and the Citizens are more likely to turn their focus on winning their first-ever European trophy.
