The Premier League is rushing towards its end as Liverpool and Manchester City continue the battle for glory. The Reds have retained the top spot after a comfortable win against Chelsea on Sunday. However, City still have a game in hand. With less than a month of fantasy football left, the gameweek 35 will prove crucial. Moreover, it is also important for those who are yet to use their special powers - 3x captain, bench boost, etc.

Here are some tips for who to pick and who not to for gameweek 35.

Raheem Sterling as captain:

Raheem Sterling has found a way to move a step above to be included in the ‘Hall of Fame’ for English football. The Manchester City winger is in red form and his performance against Tottenham Hotspurs in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final speaks volume about him.

Although, City will be having a reunion with Spurs at Etihad and then will be travelling to Old Trafford for a derby clash, Sterling will be the gamechanger for everyone. The young superstar is still owned by 20% of managers. And a ‘Captain’ band along with the ‘3x Captain’ may do wonders for the shrewd ones.

Gerard Deulofeu is still a maybe:

It is probably a party scene at the Vicarage Road as Watford have the best double-gameweek pairing. The Hornets will first meet Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium before a home match against Southampton.

Gerard Deulofeu has been a silent killer for Watford. He has run riots on his days and would be hoping to have another night of his own. The 25-year old Spaniard, will be making his return after an ankle injury if Javi Garcia confirms his recovery.

With Troy Deeney suspended, a spot has opened up for Deulofeu but it is still 50-50.

Time to trust Brighton and Hove Albion:

The Seagulls will be travelling to Wolves this weekend. Interestingly, the stats are on the visitors side. Brighton have won each of their last three league fixtures against the Wolves. The West Midlands club has failed to score against Brighton in all three encounters. After the loss against Cardiff, the Seagulls are hovering in the danger zone with just two points above the relegation zone. However, with Wolves as their weekend opponent, they clearly have the stronger hand.

Since Wolves have failed to find the net against Brighton, it would be ideal for the managers to pick defenders Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy. So, some clean sheet points would only add to their advantage.

Goodbye! Eden Hazard and Hello! Lucas Moura:

Yes! It is a big gamble keeping in the mind the difference in the status quo of the two players. But while, on one hand, Hazard has been a disappoint in the majority of fantasy league season, on the other hand, Lucas Moura has shined on mostly all the appearances he has made for Spurs.

Also with Harry Kane out of the picture due to injury, Moura is clear to start for the ‘Lilywhites’. His hattrick against Huddersfield last time gives an advantage over the not so charismatic Hazard.
