After a long hiatus, the Premier League has rolled back with full force and naturally with it, the Fantasy Premier League. The past game week was bountiful with a lot of players having 2 matches and scoring highly as a result. Couple that with the fact that Manchester City had a 5-0 game and you might have a friend or two who scored triple digits for the week. This GW could be more of the same and here’s a list of 5 of the best picks.

#1. Danny Ings (FWD; Southampton v Arsenal):

While it’s true that you can never count out Arsenal, the same is true for Danny Ings as well. Even in bad games, Danny Ings can have an impact. That’s the reason he’s among the top scorers. Last week he gave a staggering 11 points off just one game. He’s only going for 7.0 so there’s really no reason to avoid placing him in your team.

#2. Adama Traore (MID;Wolves v Bournemouth):

There was a time when Bournemouth FC were strong contenders for Top 6 while Wolves were struggling. But that eventually changed. Wolves are currently 6th and look to increase the points tally yet again. Adama Traore has been quite the performer this season and even had an assist in the last. Always involved on the attacking end and going for 5.7, he’s an absolute steal.

#3. Virgil Van Dijk (DEF; Liverpool v Crystal Palace):

Liverpool are top of the table and Van Dijk is definitely one of the reasons for it. They maintained a clean sheet last game and it could be the same with the next game. After all, despite being 9th, Crystal Palace has scored the least amount of goals in the league next to the bottom placed Norwich.

#4. Dominic Calvert-Lewin (FWD; Everton v Norwich):

He is Everton’s top scorer facing off against the bottom-placed Norwich. Couple that with the fact that he’s a forward who’s going for 6.5 with 100+ points in the bag and it could be a great and efficient pick for the week.

#5. Jack Grealish (MID; Aston Villa v Newcastle):

Despite not having a great start to the continuation of the season, you cannot count out Jack Grealish. He’s been known to rack up points in the most unexpected of times, which is why he’s one of the top scoring midfielders in FPL. AVL has a match against Newcastle and with a player like Jetro Willems injured for the time being, Aston Villa could clinch the win with Grealish spearheading the game.
