Austria have finally made a comeback in the FIFA World Cup after 28 years' wait, as they are ready for the FIFA World Cup 2026 challenge, which the USA, Mexico, and Canada are ready to host. Das Nationalteam are dreaming of creating some history in the forthcoming WC edition. 


Austria fought in Group H during the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualification (UEFA). In that challenge, they had to fight against Romania, San Marino, Cyprus, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. It was a tight group, but ultimately, Das Nationalteam managed to qualify for the WC 2026 directly.
