The new generation Norway totally dominated in the latest FIFA World Cup qualifiers to end their 28-year wait to return to the FIFA World Cup. Landslaget are set to begin their first major tournament journey after missing 12 straight major tournaments (FIFA World Cup and Euro Cup). 


In the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualification (UEFA), Norway competed in Group H, where they had to fight with the four-time WC champions Italy, and the other challengers Israel, Moldova, and Estonia. Norway won all their matches in that competition, as they comfortably qualified for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
