Uzbekistan have created history by qualifying for the FIFA World Cup 2026, as they have completed their first dream to qualify for the global competition.
Uzbekistan started the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualification challenge from the Second Round in Group E, where they faced Turkmenistan, Iran, and Hong Kong. Apart from two draws against Iran, Uzbekistan won all four other points to end the group stage with 14 points, as they finished in the second position due to a lesser goal difference than Iran.
