Match week 37 of the Premier League had its fair share of action, drama, and excitement. Match week 37 provided a conclusion to the relegation battle with Cardiff City relegating back to the Championship after their 2-3 loss to Crystal Palace.


Arsenal and Manchester United both drew 1-1 and subsequently sealed their fate outside the Top 4 places. Chelsea won 3-0 against Watford in dominating fashion to tighten their grip on the Champions League spot. At the top of the table, both Man City and Liverpool won their respective games to take the Title race down to the last day of the Premier League.

Formation(3-4-3)

GK: Mark Travers(Bournemouth)

Mark Travers had a debut to remember as he made a number of outstanding saves to help his side beat Spurs 1-0. Travers became the first teenage goalkeeper since Joe Hart in 2006 to start a Premier League Match. Surely, a goalkeeper for the future for AFC Bournemouth.

Centre Back: Lewis Dunk (Brighton)

Lewis Dunk stood out for the visitors to restrict Arsenal to 1-1 draw. The English defender made crucial interventions to Arsenal’s attacking onslaught and produced a Man Of The Match performance. Jamie Redknapp recently stated that Arsenal should sign Dunk to bolster their leaky defense which shows how far he has come as a Premier League defender.


Left CB: David Luiz (Chelsea)

The Brazilian scored a bullet header for the Blues to seal a Top 4 finish. Luiz kept a clean sheet with his alert defending and kept the Watford attackers at bay.


RWB: Ryan Fredericks (West Ham)


Ryan Fredericks scored the third goal for the hammers and produced an all-round display to defeat Southampton 3-0. The Spurs youth product was a livewire on the right-hand side and was defensively solid. Ryan Fredericks game by numbers: 100% aerial duels won, 100% tackles won 4 clearances,2 interceptions,2 shots,1 goal.


LWB: Matt Doherty (Wolves)


The Irishman provided his 7 assist for the campaign for the only goal against Fulham to cap off an impressive campaign for Wolverhampton Wanderers.A constant attacking outlet for the Wolves down the right hand side and tireless work rate displayed by Doherty.


Centre Midfield: Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Chelsea)

Loftus Cheek came on as a sub for the injured Kante early on. He produced a dynamic display in the middle of the park for the Blues and scored the first goal to help his side to 3-0 win against Watford.


Centre Midfield: Mark Noble (West Ham)

The hammers skipper assisted Marko Arnautovic for the first goal for his 5th assist of the season. A Performance full of energy and composed passing has been a constant feature this season for Mark Noble.


Right Wing: Andros Townsend (Crystal Palace)

A stunning goal and an assist by Townsend to help his side to a 3-2 win against Cardiff to relegate them to the Championship. He produced several moments of combination play with Zaha and Batshuayi to torment the Cardiff defence.


Left Wing: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

The Belgian provided two assists in a wonderful attacking display for the Blues. Hazard constantly switched flanks to trouble the Watford defence. Hazard most likely played his last game and Stamford Bridge and produced a performance worth remembering for the Chelsea faithful.


Striker: Marko Arnautovic (West Ham)

Marko Arnautovic scored goal number 8 and 9 for the Hammers to help the hammers to back to back wins. The Austrian was at his influential best and produced his early season form to help his side to 3-0 win against Southampton.
