Epl Gameweek 13 was yet another entertaining one for football fans, and even had some shock results such as Tottenham losing 1-2 Fulham. Let's not waste much more time then, scroll down below to find out our Premier League team of the week for Gameweek 13.
Premier League Team of the Week last weekend (Gameweek 13)
Goalkeeper
Emiliano Martínez (Aston Villa)
Emiliano Martínez had an impressive performance in Aston Villa's 1-0 victory over Wolves at home. He made a total of 3 saves in the game and helped his team keep a clean sheet as well. Thus, he is our best goalkeeper for this week's Premier League team of the week.
Defenders
Kenny Tete (Fulham)
All it took was 4 minutes for Fulham's right-back Kenny Tete to score against Thomas Frank's Tottenham side at home, who were especially known for their defensive playing style. The 30 year-old Dutchman is undoubtedly a deserving candidate in GW13 EPL team of the week.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle)
Malick Thiaw had his best performance in a Newcastle shirt after his £30 million move from AC Milan this year. The centre back scored a brace against Everton away, with his opening goal coming at the very first minute of the game.
Trevoh Chalobah (Chelsea)
Trevoh Chalobah has gone from unwanted to unstoppable for Chelsea. It was his goal that helped them earn a draw against league leaders Arsenal, despite being reduced to 10 men. He already has 3 goals this season despite being a centre back.
Maxim De Cuyper (Brighton)
Maxim De Cuyper had one of those classic left-back performances against Nottingham Forest in Gameweek 13. The Belgian defender not only helped his team keep a clean sheet, but he also ended up scoring a goal as well in the game.
Midfielders
Phil Foden (Manchester City)
With Erling Haaland failing to find the back of the net, Pep Guardiola needed the help of Phil Foden to bail the Citizens out against Leeds. His brace helped them avoid a shocking and embarrassing loss against Leeds at home.
Lewis Miley (Newcastle)
The future looks bright for Lewis Miley, who is still just 19 and has already established himself as a key player for Eddie Howe's Newcastle side. He was simply magnificent against Everton, ending the game with a goal and assist.
Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)
Bruno Fernandes was involved in both goals in Manchester United's surprising 1-2 win against Oliver Glasner's Crystal Palace. He continues to deliver for Ruben Amorim when he needs him the most.
Cody Gakpo (Liverpool)
With a goal and assist against West Ham, Cody Gakpo was arguably the best player for Liverpool in the game. After an underwhelming start to the season, this game could be the best confidence booster for him.
Forwards
Thiago (Brentford)
After Erling Haaland, Thiago has been the most impressive striker in the Premier League so far. He managed to add another 2 goals to his account against Brentford, which means he now has 11 Premier League goals this season.
Alexander Isak (Liverpool)
Alexander Isak finally began his goalscoring account for Liverpool in the Premier League against West Ham. It was certainly his best league performance for the club so far, and let's hope this is the beginning of a great run with no injury issues.
So the following is our Premier League Team of the Week for Gameweek 13:
