Welcome back Premier League fans, we are here with our Gameweek 20 Premier League Team of the week. GW20 was yet another thrilling one in the Premier League, and it ended with a major advantage to Arsenal. Manchester City dropped points at the very end against Chelsea, thus handing a major boost to Mikel Arteta's side. Teams such as Liverpool, Manchester United, and Spurs all had disappointing results as well. Anyways, let us now look at our EPL team of the week for GW20.
Premier League/EPL Team of the Week (GW20)
Goalkeeper
Bart Verbruggen (Brighton)
Verbruggen had a solid performance against Burnley as he helped his side achieve a 2-0 Victory. The Dutch Goalkeeper managed to make a total of 2 saves and thus help his team earn a clean sheet.
Defenders
Conor Bradley (Liverpool)
Conor Bradley is arguably one of the finest right-backs in the world when he is fit and firing. He was impressive in Liverpool's game against Fulham, and even managed to provide an assist as well.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle)
Malick Thiaw has already established himself as one of the best signings of the season. The Newcastle defender scored against Crystal Palace to help them win, and also take his tally to 2 Premier League goals this season.
Gabriel Magalhães (Arsenal)
Gabriel has been nothing less than excellent since he returned from his injury. In fact, The Brazilian is playing as if he never left. He was excellent against Bournemouth, and even scored a goal as well.
Hugo Bueno (Wolves)
Wolves managed to earn a surprise 3-0 victory over West Ham at home, and Hugo Bueno was one of the star players in defense. He helped his side keep a clean sheet and also provided an assist as well.
Midfielders
Declan Rice (Arsenal)
Declan Rice is consistently putting up one world-class performance after another for Arsenal. He scored a brace against Bournemouth, and could since establish himself as the best midfielder in world football if continues at this rate.
Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea)
Chelsea were widely expected to lose against Manchester City due to their poor form and crisis of the field, but Enzo Fernandez stepped up in the very end to save them a point.
John McGinn (Aston Villa)
John McGinn has been one of the most underrated Premier League players in the past few seasons. He was excellent against Nottingham Forest, scoring a brace to help his side claim victory.
Florian Wirtz (Liverpool)
The real Florian Wirtz is slowly arriving at Liverpool with each passing week. He has now scored 2 goals in his last 3 EPL games, and looks likely to get better in the coming weeks.
Forwards
Thiago (Brentford)
Thiago has been nothing short of phenomenal this season in the Premier League. His hat-trick against Brentford takes his total league goals to an unbelievable 15, with only Erling Haaland behind him.
Hwang Hee-chan (Wolves)
Hwang Hee-chan is a surprise name that's been included in our Gameweek 20 Premier League Team of the week. He was fantastic in the 3-0 victory over West Ham, scoring 1 and assisting another.
