Premier League/EPL Team of the Week for Gameweek 29

Goalkeeper

Melker Ellborg (Sunderland)

Melker Ellborg had a memorable Premier League debut for Sunderland, as he made 3 saves and helped Sunderland keep a clean sheet in their 0-1 victory over Leeds. He filled in for the injured Robin Roefs brilliantly.

Defenders

Jurrien Timber (Arsenal)

Jurrien Timber continues to have an outstanding season for Arsenal, and was brilliant against Brighton. Not only was the Dutch defender solid in defense, but he also assisted the match-winning goal for Arsenal.

Gabriel (Arsenal)

Gabriel's name now deserves to be included in the conversation of best defenders in the world right now. He has been spectacular for Arsenal all season, and was simply brilliant against Brighton.

James Tarkowski (Everton)

James Tarkowski had one of his best performances for Everton this season against Burnley. Not only was he impressive in defense, but he also scored one of the crucial goals to help Everton win the game 2-0.

Piero Hincapié (Arsenal)

After a slow start to his Arsenal career, Piero Hincapié is now slowly starting to show Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal fans why they bought him from Leverkusen. The Ecuadorian defender has been really impressive for Arsenal in the past few games.

Midfielders

André (Wolves)

André was brilliant for Wolves against Liverpool, as he helped his side control the game in the midfield. Furthermore, he also scored the vital goal in the end to help his side earn all 3 points.

Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest)

Elliott Anderson is widely seen as one of the most promising midfielders in world football today, and he proved that against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City with a fabulous midfield performance and a fine goal.

Adam Wharton (Crystal Palace)

Adam Wharton is another player along with Elliot Anderson who's been seen as one of the best young Midfielders in football today, and he was excellent as well this Gameweek. Wharton was too much to handle for Spurs, who got destroyed 1-3 by Palace.

Ismaïla Sarr (Crystal Palace)

From one Palace player to another, Ismaïla Sarr was the star player for Oliver Glasner's side in their huge 1-3 victory. He scored a 5-minute brace towards the ends of the first-half to inflict further misery on Tottenham.

Forwards

João Pedro (Chelsea)

João Pedro was back to his very best against Aston Villa, with the Brazilian scoring a hat-trick to help Liam Rosenior's side earn a significant 1-4 victory over Unai Emery's side at Villa Park.

William Osula (Newcastle)

William Osula only played around 6 minutes for Newcastle against Manchester United. We have still included him in this list, as his remarkable match-winning solo goal will be remembered for the years to come.
