Hello football fans, we are here Team of the Week Premier League for Gameweek 8 (GW8). Epl Week 8 was a fantastic one with Manchester United shocking Liverpool and Arsenal continuing their fine form. Let's not waste anymore time then, here is our EPL team of the week 8 .
(Note: Players from West Ham vs Brentford won't be included in this list since it's a late fixture)
Premier League/EPL Team of the Week 8
Goalkeeper
Robin Roefs (Sunderland)
Robin Roefs continues to surprise us all with his heroics, as helped Sunderland keep yet another clean sheet with his vital saves against Wolves. Undoubtedly in contention for Premier League goalkeeper of the season so far.
Defenders
Nordi Mukiele (Sunderland)
Nordi Mukiele put up a heroic performance against Wolves, not only contributing in defense but even scoring a goal as well. This might be the beginning of a special run for him.
Gabriel Magalhães (Arsenal)
Gabriel continues to show us why he is one of the best defenders in the world. He put up yet another defensive masterclass against Fulham, and finally supplied the assist as well for Arsenal's winner.
Harry Maguire (Manchester United)
The redemption arc of Harry Maguire at Manchester United continues to amaze us, and the story had an unforgettable chapter written to it at Anfield. Scoring a late 84th minute goal, Maguire silenced Anfield and had the final laugh.
Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City)
Nico O'Reilly is slowly making that left position his own at Manchester City by putting in solid performances with each passing week. The scary truth is that he's just 20, and the best is definitely yet to come.
Midfielders
Pedro Neto (Chelsea)
Pedro Neto was the game changer for Chelsea against Nottingham Forest. It was his goal and assist that turned the game in Chelsea's favour, and eventually to Ange Postecoglou getting the sack.
Moises Caicedo (Chelsea)
The change in Chelsea's entire flow and rhythm after Moises was brought into midfield in the second half was a testament to the exceptional player that he is. He definitely changed the way Chelsea played as a team and was simply brilliant.
Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)
The decision to not sell Bruno Fernandes to Saudi Arabia in the last transfer window was met with mixed opinions, but it's when you see performances like this that you realise how important Bruno is for Manchester United. A leader they simply cannot lose right now.
Savinho (Manchester City)
Savinho caused nightmares to Everton defenders with a trademark Brazilian winger performance that was full of flair, dribbles, and amazing runs. Pep Guardiola surely did the right thing by Spurs' monstrous transfer offer for him.
Forwards
Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
Erling Haaland is officially right now the most in-form player in the Premier League, and is looking unstoppable to be brutally honest. If he carries this form throughout the season and leads City another Premier League title, then he finally might get that Ballon d'Or.
Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace)
This might be the season Jean-Philippe Mateta establishes himself as one of the finest strikers in the Premier League. His hat-trick against Bournemouth will be looked at as one of the most legendary individual performances by a Crystal Palace player.
So the following is our Premier League Team of the Week for Gameweek 8:
That's it from us for the GW8 Premier League Team of the Week. See you soon for EPL Team of the Week GW8.
