Premier League/EPL Team of the Week 9
Goalkeeper
Guglielmo Vicario (Tottenham Hotspur)
Guglielmo Vicario is officially our top goalkeeper choice for Premier League team of the week GW9. He has proved himself to be a top signing for Spurs, and his display against Everton was yet another solid one. Undoubtedly the best is yet to come from him.
Defenders
Matty Cash (Aston Villa)
Matty Cash has been one of the standout players for Aston Villa so far this season, and he yet again scored a decisive goal to help Aston Villa earn all 3 points. He has added more misery to Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City side. A really deserving candidate in our EPL Team of the week GW9.
Micky van de Ven (Tottenham Hotspur)
The way Micky van de Ven is playing right now, Liverpool must undoubtedly be regretting their decision not to sign him, especially with their own defense struggling quite a lot at the moment. His outstanding aerial ability is seeing him score lots of goals as well, thus giving huge competition to Arsenal's Gabriel. The only way is up for him.
Joe Rodon (Leeds United)
Joe Rodon was the star for Leeds United against West Ham, as he played a starring role in both defense and attack. Rodon will need to reproduce such heroic performances more often if Leeds are to remain in the Premier League, and for him to earn more selections in our Premier League team of the week.
Riccardo Calafiori (Arsenal)
After what was a mixed debut season that was overshadowed by injuries and inconsistency Riccardo Calafiori has finally found his feet at Arsenal, and has made that Left Back position his to lose. The Italian is quite a danger both in attack and defense. He was solid as usual against Crystal Palace, and is yet another deserving candidate in our EPL Team of the week for GW9.
Midfielders
Tyler Adams (Bournemouth)
Tyler Adams put in an all-round midfielder performance against Nottingham Forest to help his side earn another 3 points. He managed to grab an assist as well, and Bournemouth would be hoping for more such powerful performances from him in their bid for an unthinkable European qualification by the season end.
Bruno GuimarĂ£es ( Newcastle United)
Newcastle United are simply lucky to be having a player like Bruno GuimarĂ£es. He has so far served as a loyal servant of the club in their brightest and darkest moments, despite having transfer interest from several clubs including Pep Guardiola's Manchester City when they were Premier League Champions. He was brilliant against Fulham, and will play a huge role for the Magpies as the season progresses.
Kevin Schade (Brentford)
Kevin Schade might end up being the next big winger to rise through the ranks and make it big from Germany. He is still just 23 years old, and looks highly likely to develop into a top player at Brentford. His goal managed to break the heart of Liverpool fans, and he would be hoping to replicate the feat against all the English clubs this season.
Bryan Mbeumo (Manchester United)
Bryan Mbeumo is finally back to being the Superstar player that he was last season. The Manchester United forward is now slowly replicating his stunning Brentford for the Red Devils, and was absolutely brilliant in their victory against Brighton. Without a doubt, a top pick in our Premier League team of the week for Gameweek 9.
Matheus Cunha (Manchester United)
Sometimes a player doesn't need to have goals or assists to contribute immensely to the team, and that's been the case of Matheus Cunha at Manchester United so far. He has fabulous for the team in various aspects of the game, and it's just a matter of when in regards to him scoring or assisting on a regular basis. He was yet again fantastic against Brighton.
Forwards
Eli Junior Kroupi (Bournemouth)
Eli Junior Kroupi is defying the odds and exceeding all expectations at Bournemouth. He managed to score yet another goal for Bournemouth as they won against Nottingham Forest. The 19 year old is proving to be too good at the moment, and first-choice striker may not have an easy route back to the first-eleven at this rate.
So the following is our Premier League Team of the Week for Gameweek 9:
