Will Tottenham Get Relegated This Season

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace ended in a disastrous 1-3 loss for Igor Tudor's Spurs side, and now the threat of relegation looks like a reality as the likes of Nottingham Forest and West Ham managed to earn vital points in the same Gameweek. After the sacking of Thomas Frank, it was widely expected that Tottenham would have a new manager after the appointment of Tudor, but that has not been the case. The Croatian manager has struggled so far with the London club, and there are even calls for him to be sacked before the situation gets worse.

We are now going to look at the remaining fixtures of Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, and come up with our final opinion if we think they will get relegated or not.

Tottenham Hotspur - Remaining fixtures in the 2025-26 Premier League season

The following are the remaining fixtures for Spurs in the Premier League:

Nottingham Forest (Home)

Sunderland (Away)

Brighton (Home)

Wolves (Away)

Aston Villa (Away)

Leeds (Home)

Chelsea (Away)

Everton (Home)

Will Spurs remain in the Premier League or get relegated?

Tottenham Hotspur currently have 29 points in the Premier League. However, they are only a single point ahead from the relegation zone. Currently, they are in one of their worst forms ever in a long time, and they also have a crucial UCL Round of 16 game coming up against Atlético Madrid. Their next Premier League game is going to be arguably their most important one out of all remaining fixtures, as it'll be against Nottingham Forest, who are one of the teams competing with Spurs to avoid relegation.

We feel that anything less than a win in that game will further increase the likelihood of Spurs getting relegated. Forest and West Ham, who are the other teams currently in a relegation battle with Tottenham, are two sides that are used to being in such a high-pressure relegation situation, and hence their players can adapt and step up for these crucial remaining fixtures. The same cannot be said for Spurs players, who have been nothing less than embarrassing both in terms of performance and taking accountability. Even the leadership within the squad is at an all-time low.

The next 4 fixtures after Forest all look tough for Spurs to earn anything in their current form. Sunderland and Brighton are levels above them, while Wolves have been really impressive recently and look like a tough team to beat. Their next 3 fixtures are a nightmare, as they'll face the likes of Aston Villa, Leeds, and Chelsea. The Leeds game will be the most crucial out of the 3, as they are another club who have a slight risk of getting relegated as it stands, but they proved themselves to be quite difficult to beat in many games this season, and hence that'll be another game where Spurs might have to up their level by a gear or 2 from their current form.

To make matters worse for Spurs and their fans, even their final game of the season will be a difficult one in the form of Everton. Although it's a home fixture, Spurs have had a horrible record this season at home, hence it doesn't look like an advantage right now. Moreover, Everton have been really impressive as well this season.

Looking at all their remaining fixtures, our personal opinion is that the only way Spurs can get out of this relegation danger is if one of Leeds, West Ham, Or Forest mess-up big time towards the end or if they sack Igor Tudor before it's too late and can get a manager that can save them from relegation. We see no world where the Spurs player in their current form would win any of these remaining Premier League fixtures. If we are to give a definite opinion based on just the remaining fixtures and ignoring all other factors (such as managers which are subject to change), then we believe English Football is about to see one of the most shocking relegations ever and Spurs are about to go down.
