The draw for the 2026-27 UEFA Nations League took place on 12th February 2026 in Brussels, with the schedule released a day later to unveil the League phase of the competition, featuring exciting ties to look forward to. This will be the fifth edition of the tournament and it will take place from 24th September to 13 June 2027, with the playoffs to be held in 2028. The League phase will run until 17 November 2026, with 16 teams in the top division, League A, divided into four groups. The group winners and runners-up will advance to the quarter-finals, which will take place in March 2027. The third-placed side will enter the playoffs, while the bottom-placed team will be demoted to League B. The Nations League will also tie into the UEFA Euro 2028 qualification, but it is pending approval of the format and regulations of that tournament. Portugal is the defending champion after becoming the first side to win the Nations League twice.
